About the role
As the UK Finance Manager you will be employed by Medequip but you will focus on all things Finance for the Medux UK Group
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Managing the regular Finance and month-end close processes
- Partnering with business unit leaders and other Finance stakeholders to enable accurate financial reporting
- Managing the back-office functions for accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns across the group
- Preparing and submitting monthly ONS (government statistics) reporting
- Managing banking arrangements
- Being a key contact for auditors and Group stakeholders

Qualifications and experience required
- Qualified accountant with broad experience of month-end close activities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Attention to detail, curiosity and ability to stand back and look at the big picture
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of working across different stakeholders
- Experience using Sage is useful but not essential
- Experience of working with auditors is useful but not essential
