Who are Medequip Connect?

Medequip Connect provide services to over 10,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled or vulnerable people allowing them to remain safely in their own home. 

We help people to maintain people’s independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day.  Our care technology services provide peace of mind to you, your family, and your friends.

About the role

As the Operations Team Leader for Medequip Connect, you will support on the operational delivery and development of Medequip Connect’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Installation, Maintenance, and Response operations

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • To support the Company’s business strategy by understanding the KPIs, whilst driving the best possible levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • To have an understanding of the requirements of internal/external customers; deliver on promises; act with customers in mind; maintain effective customer relationships.
  • To represent the business well at external events and meetings and cultivate business opportunities within these environments.
  • To have an understanding of TEC Services Association (TSA) Quality Standards to ensure compliance with monitoring/installation/repair/reporting requirements.
  • To support on the HR management of staff well-being, conduct and performance
  • To support recruitment for Technicians/Responders 
  • To support formal 1-1’s, coaching and feedback sessions
  • To develop a knowledge in the Health & Social Care landscape and how Medequip Connect solutions and TEC Installation, Maintenance, and Response services will contribute to managing service user risks and supporting people to live independently.
  • To effectively support implementation of processes/practices/procedure
  • Oversee stock management throughout areas to ensure maximum stock retention and accuracy.
  • To maintain Health, Safety, Environmental compliance, and quality standards.
  • To use resource planning tools to ensure that the Medequip Way operates fully allowing the correct resources to be allocated to workload.
  • Manage the effectiveness of the Technicians/Responders and operations 
  • Support Service delivery manager with payroll and timesheet management.

Qualifications and experience required.

  • Ideally some experience in a Public, Healthcare, TEC or Service Based Industry Role.
  • Full UK Driving License 
  • Ability to type talk
  • Strong computer skills, and Microsoft Office proficient
