Who are Medequip Connect?

Medequip Connect provide services to over 50,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled or vulnerable people allowing them to remain safely in their own home. 

We help people to maintain people’s independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day.  Our care technology services provide peace of mind to you, your family, and your friends.

About the role

As the Service Delivery Manager for Medequip Connect, you will lead on the operational delivery and development of Medequip Connect’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Installation, Maintenance, and Response operations within the Sutton area

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • To support the Company’s business strategy and profitability through the highest level of service provision and exceeding set internal and external KPIs, whilst driving the best possible levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • To meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of internal/external customers; deliver on promises; act with customers in mind; maintain effective customer relationships.
  • To understand financial data, planning, and budgeting techniques
  • To represent the business well at external events and meetings
  • To have a robust understanding of TEC Services Association (TSA) Quality Standards and applicable British Standards
  • To have a robust understanding of TEC Services Association (TSA) Quality Standards and applicable British Standards to ensure compliance with monitoring/installation/repair/reporting requirements of a wide range of devices and applications in various settings
  • To lead on the HR management of staff well-being, conduct and performance
  • To develop expertise and knowledge in the Health & Social Care landscape and how Medequip Connect solutions and TEC Installation, Maintenance, and Response services will contribute to managing service user risks and supporting people to live independently.
  • To work with the Medequip Connect management team in driving improvement and innovation across TEC Installation, Maintenance, and Response services
  • To have a continuous improvement mindset to support Medequip Connect i embedding the highest standards required to operate effective TEC services and ensure processes and controls support their achievement. They will ensure operational performance is supported through effective programmes of work and in accordance with the TEC Services Association’s (TSA) Quality Standards Framework (QSF), other applicable standards and contract specifications

Qualifications and experience required.

  • Some experience in a similar role is essential
  • minimum 1 year experience in a public, healthcare, TEC or service base industry role
  • Full Driving license is essential
