Hours: 16 hours per month
Salary: £12.27 hourly pay for any call outs between 8pm and 8am plus on call allowance

Who are Medequip Connect?

Medequip Connect provide services to over 50,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled or vulnerable people allowing them to remain safely in their own home. 

We help people to maintain people’s independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day.  Our care technology services provide peace of mind to you, your family, and your friends.

About the role

  • To make immediate response to alarm calls and make prompt attendance, assessing the care and support needs of people at risk and to provide or facilitate appropriate support.
  • Dealing with maintenance and installing alarm equipment at clients’ premises and explaining how the equipment/alarm works.
  • To undertake ‘last resort’ personal care when on a call-out should it be needed to maintain the client’s dignity.
  • To assist with the promotion of the service in local communities.

About you

  • If you have genuine empathy for the welfare of elderly adults, this role will suit you.
  • You will be based within Workington surrounding area.
  • Full UK driving licence, and some access to an appropriately insured and taxed vehicle for business use.
  • No specific experience is necessary, only a responsible and caring nature and a flexible approach
