Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Core hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, working 1 Sunday morning (remotely) in 3 on a rota basis with time given in lieu)
Salary: £23,927 per annum

Who are Medequip Connect?

Medequip Connect provide services to over 50,000 people nationwide with the objective of providing reassurance and support to older, disabled or vulnerable people allowing them to remain safely in their own home. 

We help people to maintain people’s independence by providing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and a range of associated equipment that gives them the confidence of knowing that assistance is available at any time, 24 hours a day.  Our care technology services provide peace of mind to you, your family, and your friends.

About the role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Act as the first line of contact for enquiries, referrals, and installations of TEC equipment.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support including answering calls, data entry, appointment booking, and distributing information.
  • Schedule technician visits efficiently, optimising appointment routes.
  • Liaise with service users, their families, GPs, nurses, social workers, and community organisations to coordinate care and support.
  • Learn and triage TEC equipment issues, providing basic fault-finding before escalating.
  • Maintain and update accurate service user records across internal systems (e.g. TCES, UMO CRM).
  • Handle sensitive information in line with data protection policies.
  • Prepare documentation for new service users and respond to routine queries from stakeholders.
  • Contribute to maintaining service KPIs and quality standards.

Qualifications and experience required.

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities
  • Comfortable using computer systems and CRM/databases (training provided).
  • A proactive, flexible team player with a strong attention to detail.
  • A compassionate, customer-focused attitude with an understanding of confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and stay up to date with TEC equipment and procedures
