We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Clinical Administrator to join Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring smooth coordination and administration to support the clinical team.

Our internal training, and exceptional leadership will enable you to develop professionally while providing the best outcomes for the Norfolk and Waveney contract at our Norwich depot.

You will be supported by an excellent team of professional and ever-developing co-workers who all identify with and align to Medequip’s values. The wider national clinical team offers structured support, including induction, supervision, and continuous professional development, under the guidance of the Head of Clinical Services.

This role also involves close coordination with the Occupational Therapist Clinical Advisor for Norfolk, ensuring effective communication and administrative processes are maintained across the service.

About the role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

           Administrative Support

  • Manage data, generate reports, and process invoices
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the clinical team
  • Assist with improving service delivery and internal processes

    Equipment Loan Service

  • Support the smooth operation of the equipment loan service
  • Process new specialist equipment orders daily
  • Assist with repairs, including organising parts and deliveries
  • Contribute to monthly reporting on spend and cost savings
  • Help coordinate training and demonstration sessions for prescribers

    Operational Support

  • Handle calls and enquiries when OTs are unavailable
  • Escalate complex or urgent cases appropriately
  • Support depot OTs with administrative tasks
  • Suggest improvements to enhance service efficiency

    Professional Development

  • Participate in training, supervision, and development opportunities

Qualifications and experience required.

           Essential:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in an administrative or customer service role
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection

    Desirable:

  • Experience in a health, social care, or community equipment setting
  • Awareness of health and social care practices
